Rent Cinema Ready Gear
At Rocket House Pictures, we believe that great stories deserve great tools. Our gear rental program gives filmmakers, creators, and production teams access to the high-quality equipment we trust every day, the same gear we use on client films, documentaries, commercials, and cinematic projects. If you are planning a passion project, shooting a short film, or need specialized tools for a one-off video production shoot, our gear rentals are designed to be flexible, reliable, and production-ready.
Our gear reflects the standards we uphold on every Rocket House project, tools that help you control light, depth, and motion with confidence. Our inventory is built around a Panasonic-based camera ecosystem, along with matching lenses and production accessories. Because this gear is in regular use on active Rocket House projects, rental availability depends on our shooting schedule. For the best chance of securing specific items, we recommend submitting rental inquiries at least one month in advance. Short-notice requests may be possible when equipment is not booked, but availability cannot be guaranteed. Early planning allows us to align schedules and ensure everything is fully prepped and production-ready for your shoot.
Our rental inventory includes:
- Cinema Cameras: Panasonic EVA1 bodies and VariCam LT available (Super 35), ready for professional production workflows and consistent results. Ask about body quantity, media options, power, and rig configurations. Also available are several GH6s and GH7s.
- Cinema Lenses: Full sets of Xeen cine lenses for a cohesive, cinematic look, great for controlled focus, beautiful falloff, and matching coverage across a shoot.
- Lighting & Grip: Aputure fixtures and modifiers, plus additional lighting support from Intellytech (varies by kit). We also have the grip essentials that make lighting faster and safer on set.
- Movement & Stabilization: DJI Ronin RS4 Pro for stabilized movement, plus specialty motion tools like the Kessler Second Shooter system and Edelkrone HeadPLUS V2 for repeatable moves and controlled camera motion.
- Audio & Accessories: A curated selection of production accessories, because it’s always the “small stuff” that saves the day. Tell us your setup and we’ll recommend what makes sense.
Our rentals are designed for content creators, cinematographers, small production teams, marketing agencies, and visiting crews who need dependable gear in Colorado. If you’re flying in or building a local kit for a multi-day shoot, we’ll help you spec a package that fits your plan.
Not sure what you need? We can build a streamlined kit around your shoot style, handheld, tripod, gimbal, interview lighting, run-and-gun, or controlled studio setups. The goal is to help you shoot clean footage without overcomplicating the day.
All rental gear is maintained and checked before checkout. We’re filmmakers first, so we prep rentals the same way we prep our own shoots.
How renting works:
- Request Availability: Send us your shoot dates and the gear you’re considering. If you’re unsure, describe the project and we’ll suggest an effective package.
- Confirm Your Kit: We’ll confirm availability, share rates, and outline pickup/return details. Day, weekend, weekly, and longer rentals are available.
- Pickup & Checkout: We schedule a pickup time, walk through the kit with you, and verify everything is ready to roll before you leave with it.
- Return & Wrap: Return gear on time and in the same condition. If anything is missing or damaged, we’ll address it at check-in based on the rental agreement.
We can also recommend add-ons based on your goals, like which lens set makes sense for interviews vs. action, or whether motion control is worth it for a specific shot list. No upsell energy, just practical advice.
Rocket House is more than a gear source. We’re your local production ally. If you need a DP, audio tech, gaffer, or a full crew to go with the rental, we can help you staff it too.
